Circularity only works when the whole system works. That’s why we’ve built a solution that helps brands and supply-chain partners integrate recycled materials faster, more efficiently, and at scale.
Our story
The fashion system is fundamentally inefficient. Perfectly usable materials are still being discarded, while new resources are being extracted to replace them. Not because alternatives don’t exist, but because the alternative hasn’t been built at scale. Circulose exists to change that.
We take discarded textiles and turn them into a new raw material that can replace virgin forest-based pulp in fiber production. It’s a practical solution to a structural problem, designed to work within existing supply chains, not around them.

From the beginning, our focus has been on making circularity real. That means performance on par with conventional materials. It means industrial scalability. And it means transparency about what works, what doesn’t, and what still needs to improve. We know that transforming an industry as large and complex as fashion doesn’t happen overnight. Launched in 2022, our plant in Sundsvall, Sweden, is the world’s first commercial-scale chemical textile-to-textile recycling facility, and the starting point for our global expansion. Reopening in 2026, with a capacity of 60,000 tons per year and the potential to double capacity in the years to come, it will be central to scaling next-generation materials in the fashion and textile industry.
