We are a Swedish textile innovation company producing CIRCULOSE®, a raw material made from 100% recycled cotton textiles. We partner with brands and fiber producers to shift the industry from linear to circular – not someday, but today.

We exist to scale circular fashion.

Circular fashion only works when it works at scale – and scale is what we are building. Our purpose is to replace the waste-driven model of textile production with one that continuously renews its own resources.

We lead the shift to a circular fashion industry.

By converting textile waste into a virgin-quality raw material and connecting the value chain, we make circular materials real, scalable and economically viable — for brands, producers and the industry at large

A world where textiles never become waste.

We envision a future where every fiber stays in circulation at its highest value – a future where recycled textiles are the norm, not the substitute.

An end‑to‑end solution for scaling circular materials.

Circularity only works when the whole system works. That’s why we’ve built a solution that helps brands and supply-chain partners integrate recycled materials faster, more efficiently, and at scale.

Textile waste

The fashion system is fundamentally inefficient. Perfectly usable materials are still being discarded, while new resources are being extracted to replace them. Not because alternatives don’t exist, but because the alternative hasn’t been built at scale. Circulose exists to change that.

We take discarded textiles and turn them into a new raw material that can replace virgin forest-based pulp in fiber production. It’s a practical solution to a structural problem, designed to work within existing supply chains, not around them.

From the beginning, our focus has been on making circularity real. That means performance on par with conventional materials. It means industrial scalability. And it means transparency about what works, what doesn’t, and what still needs to improve. We know that transforming an industry as large and complex as fashion doesn’t happen overnight. Progress is incremental, and collaboration is essential.

That’s why we work closely with brands, producers and innovators who all share the ambition to move from linear to circular, without compromises. At Circulose, we don’t believe sustainability should be a niche or a premium. It should be a standard. Our role is to innovate and scale the materials that make that future possible.

We’re not promising scale. We’ve already built it — and now we’re scaling it responsibly with brand commitments, proven technology, and real industrial infrastructure.”

Made in Sweden

Launched in 2022, our plant in Sundsvall, Sweden, is the world’s first commercial-scale chemical textile-to-textile recycling facility, and the starting point for our global expansion. Reopening in 2026, with a capacity of 60,000 tons per year and the potential to double capacity in the years to come, it will be central to scaling next-generation materials in the fashion and textile industry.
